*It's starting to look a lot like Christmas,

in time for Mothers' Day...*


I think I should give my mum a bouqet of poinsettias for Mothers' Day. I can't believe it snowed last night! I looked outside my window this morning and there was still a smattering of snow on the dirt ground. I don't run well in snow, so I went right back to bed and slept in! When I checked The Weather Network I found out it was minus five (celcius, that's the same as piss ass cold in farenheit) with the dew point and windchill. Tomorrow if there's still snow on the ground I'll go for a walk and see what my running trail looks like. I can't believe how much it snowed in the interior!

I finally got a ticket to see R.E.M. on May 23 at Deer Lake Park. We couldn't afford for both of us to go so my husband generously let me purchase the ticket. The concert is on rain or shine; I wonder if it'll snow??

I know! We're all trapped in BizarroWorld. We hit 80F yesterday, and the tree branches are still bare.

Have fun at that concert! So happy you get to see them! I'm going to the one in Philly on June 18th. YAY!!
This weather has been crazy! Had to laugh at your pointsettia joke.
How have you been, anyway? Happy Mother's Day to your Mum! (When is the date for that in "Canadia", anyway?)

Thank you Amy! :D I've been doing well thanks; hope everything's going well with you too. A Happy Mother's Day to your mum too; our Mother's Day is the same day as yours. I worked yesterday so we took my mum and her neighbour out for dinner last Sunday.

The weather for the concert is going to be cool but not terribly cold thankfully. And above all it's going to be dry. Will your concert be indoors or outdoors?

It's an outdoor venue..I have to check it out more fully, to see where we'll be sitting..I think it's near the center, second tier back.
